Willamette Valley Vineyards
Wine discounts and monthly tastings
What you get
Qualifying shareholders get wine discounts and one free educational tasting each month for themselves and up to three guests. Shareholders also get priority access to limited releases and invitations to exclusive events, including the annual July celebration. Some tours and experiences are free or discounted.
Current-release wines
25% off current-release wines.
Library wines
10% off library wines.
Wine credit for preferred shareholders
15% more value when you take wine credit instead of the cash dividend. Willamette calls this an Owner Benefit Credit. Common shares (WVVI) do not receive wine credits. Credits never expire and can pay for wine, food pairings, merchandise, winery stays and events. The wine discount still applies when you pay with credit. Credits cannot buy shares.
What it takes
You need at least 300 common shares (WVVI) or preferred shares (WVVIP).
Before buyingA perk is a minor benefit of owning a share, not a reason to buy one. Share prices fall as well as rise, and dealing costs, spreads and tax can exceed a perk’s value. This page is not investment advice. Read about the risks.
Holding through a broker
You can qualify with shares bought through a broker. The winery must verify your holding before activating the benefits. We have not tested a broker route.
How to claim
- 1. Register for shareholder benefitsCall, email or visit Ownership Services, Willamette’s shareholder team, using the details below. Ask it to verify your holding and mark your customer account as an Owner. This is the winery’s name for a qualifying shareholder.
- 2. Confirm access and book your tastingCheck that the team has activated your shareholder benefits before using the discount. To use the monthly tasting, book ahead at your chosen Willamette location.
Ask Ownership Services which documents it needs to verify your holding; Willamette does not publish a list.

Practical notes
If you buy shares from the winery
Willamette can take three or four weeks to process your share application (the subscription agreement). Once accepted, discounts usually start within one or two business days of billing. Willamette gives no turnaround for checking an existing brokerage holding.
Optional personalised cards
Your first set is free. Email Ownership Services the names and phone number or email address you want printed. Cards can take up to seven weeks to ship. The FAQ does not say you need a card to claim the benefits.
Help planning a visit
The winery assigns shareholders a personal contact, called a Winery Ambassador, to help with purchases and visits. Ask Ownership Services to put you in touch. If an event sells out, the team can add you to a priority waitlist.
When to choose wine credit
The FAQ gives an approximate deadline of late November 2026 for choosing credit instead of the cash dividend. Ask Ownership Services for the exact date. Dividends on shares bought through the winery’s 2026 offering start accruing in January 2027.
Retirement accounts and overseas holders
Willamette gives no separate perk rules for retirement or other tax-advantaged accounts, or for shareholders outside the US.
Compare the final price
Compare the wine price after the discount and delivery charges with other sellers.
History of the perk
The wine discount dates back to at least 2016. The sources checked do not establish when the wider shareholder benefits began.
