Privacy
Like any web server, ours records each request it receives: the address it came from, the page asked for, the time, and the details your browser sends with every request, such as its name, version and preferred language.
What we keep
We use these records to run and secure the site and to count which pages are read. The web server’s own log, which includes your address, is kept for 90 days. Our count records keep a hash of your address, not the address itself. It changes every day, so we can count how many people visit in a day without following anyone from one day to the next. Nothing we do turns it back into your address. We keep those records indefinitely; they hold no address. We publish only totals.
The site sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts. Links to other websites go directly there, except the link to visit a broker from its guide, which passes through this site so we can count it. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Email you send us is separate from these records.
