What it takes
You need at least 200 shares.
Before buyingA perk is a minor benefit of owning a share, not a reason to buy one. Share prices fall as well as rise, and dealing costs, spreads and tax can exceed a perk’s value. Read about the risks.
Holding through a broker
Shares held in your own name qualify.
Nominee holders must provide proof of ownership.
Every holder must show proof of ownership and identification, including holders whose shares are registered in their own name.
Synsam accepts a VP account, a securities account recorded at Euroclear, or an ISK/custody account. ISK means a Swedish investment savings account; a custody account holds investments with a bank or broker. These issuer rules do not establish that a particular foreign broker’s statement will be accepted.

Company story
Glasses by subscription
Synsam began in 1968. Its business now includes subscriptions that combine eyewear with services such as eye examinations and replacement lenses when a prescription changes. That helps explain why the shareholder offer covers both a purchase at the till and a subscription renewal.
