What shareholders get Puroland or Harmonyland tickets

Sanrio+ registration is essential. Sanrio has stopped issuing paper tickets.

Plus 1 other benefit

Sanrio is the Japanese character and gift company behind Hello Kitty. Its businesses include character licensing, merchandise and the Sanrio Puroland and Harmonyland theme parks.

What you get

Sanrio shareholders can visit Puroland or Harmonyland with digital tickets held in Sanrio+. The current entry tier starts at 100 shares; the shopping coupon starts at 500. Those are the share counts after the five-for-one split in April 2026.

Park tickets and shop coupons

A holding of 100–499 shares earns one digital ticket to Sanrio Puroland or Harmonyland at each of the two annual record dates. Holdings from 500 shares also receive a ¥1,000 shop coupon. Larger holdings receive more tickets and, from 15,000 shares, two coupons.

Long-term shareholder acrylic stand

Sanrio gives an exclusive acrylic character stand to qualifying long-term holders of at least 1,500 shares. It comes in addition to the ordinary park tickets and coupons. The character and design can change; the stands shown for 2026 are past examples.

Holding through a broker

Shares must be registered in your own name.

Sanrio checks its shareholder register and sends a shareholder number and benefit code. Its public terms do not confirm overseas pooled-nominee or foreign-address arrangements. Ask your broker whether you receive those details; we have not tested its service.

Sanrio does not say whether overseas shareholders can claim.

Practical notes

Park tickets and shop coupons

Sharing requires another Sanrio+ account

You can use the distribution function to pass an unconverted benefit to a family member who has registered for Sanrio+. Sanrio prohibits resale and transfers to third parties outside its permitted sharing rules.

A shop coupon has its own scope

Some shops and products are excluded. Choose the right coupon form and check the eligible-store list before converting it; a coupon for an ordinary Sanrio shop is not interchangeable with the online-shop or park-shop versions.

Company story

From a small purse to two theme parks

Sanrio created Hello Kitty in 1974. Her first product arrived the following year: a small purse. Sanrio Puroland opened in Tama, Tokyo, in 1990, followed by Harmonyland in Oita in 1991.

The shareholder benefit connects those two sides of the company. A ticket brings the holder into a theme park, while a higher holding adds a coupon for character goods. In 2026 Sanrio moved both benefits into Sanrio+ and introduced a smaller ticket-only entry tier after its share split.
