Product gifts for shareholders

Procter & Gamble makes household and personal-care products, including Tide detergent, Pampers diapers and Gillette razors. This page covers the US company listed as PG on the New York Stock Exchange.

What we found

We found no current P&G product gift, discount or voucher for shareholders in its 2026 annual report and meeting instructions. Older records tell a more varied story: a Crest discount advertised through the annual-report website, certificates for gifts of shares, and a shop selling P&G merchandise.

A $5 Crest code on the 2000 annual-report website

P&G’s 2000 annual-report website included a section of brand advertisements. An advert for Crest Whitestrips offered $5 off an online or telephone order with the discount code STOCK. It limited the offer to one per customer and described it as available for a limited time, without giving an expiry date.

The advert survives in an archived copy of P&G’s website captured on 2003-07-11. Its place on the annual-report website connects it to shareholder communications, but the advert does not say buyers had to own shares.

Do shareholders get products at the annual meeting?

P&G’s notice for its 2026-10-13 annual meeting describes a live audio webcast. The meeting instructions do not promise products or gifts for shareholders.

P&G’s 2019 notice invited shareholders to its General Offices in Cincinnati; its 2020 notice announced an online meeting. Neither set of instructions establishes a product-gift entitlement. We have not recovered issuer records confirming whether attendees received products, what they were or who qualified.

P&G’s gift certificate for shares

P&G’s 1999 annual report suggested giving shares to friends and relatives. With each gift, P&G said it would send a non-negotiable gift certificate that could be framed for the recipient. The certificate marked a gift of stock; it was not described as a voucher to spend on household products.

An archived share-transactions page captured on 2010-01-01 described a gift announcement that the giver could create and frame. These were keepsakes for a gift of shares, rather than rewards for holding them.

Product samples and the P&G Galleria

P&G’s 2003 annual report directed readers to its website for product information, newsletters and samples. The same shareholder-information page advertised the P&G Galleria, where visitors could order branded umbrellas, business accessories and clothing.

The page states no shareholder-only right to samples or special price for merchandise.

Where to find consumer rewards

P&G’s brandSAVER members earn points through activities such as uploading receipts and answering surveys, then redeem them in the Reward Shop. The Reward Shop terms do not mention shareholding.

The programme has separate sites for US residents, excluding US territories, and Canadian residents. Members must have reached the age of majority where they live; US registration also requires a verifiable US mobile number that receives text messages. Check the brandSAVER terms for your country and the offer you want.
