What you get

Iberdrola is an electricity group. In the UK, its ScottishPower business runs electricity networks, generates renewable power and supplies energy to customers. Its shareholder club is separate from the unconfirmed EQ Boost route described below.

The club offers invitations to corporate, cultural and leisure events and chances to enter prize draws. Iberdrola does not promise an invitation or prize on a fixed schedule.

What it takes

The sources checked do not state a minimum shareholding.

Qualifying shares: Iberdrola shares registered as the club requires, or American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) or CREST Depository Interests (CDIs) representing them.

You must register for the club and receive a password. Individual shareholders must hold their shares with a Spanish institution, registered in their own names in its book-entry register. Corporate shareholders and holders of ADRs or CDIs can also request passwords. The form does not state the same name-registration condition for corporate, ADR or CDI holders.

Before buyingA perk is a minor benefit of owning a share, not a reason to buy one. Share prices fall as well as rise, and dealing costs, spreads and tax can exceed a perk’s value. Read about the risks.

Holding through a broker

The registration form does not explain how someone in a broker’s pooled nominee account obtains credentials. Ask Iberdrola if it does not fit your holding.

How to claim

The registration form asks for identity and contact details, the type of holder and the number of shares. It has separate ADR and CDI options.

  1. 1. Request club accessOpen Iberdrola’s registration form, choose the holder type that matches your shares or depositary interests and submit the requested details.
  2. 2. Check invitations and drawsIberdrola says club members receive event invitations and can enter prize draws. Read each offer’s conditions before entering.

Dates

The sources checked do not say when you must own the shares, how long you must hold them or when the benefit expires.

Practical notes

One club, two abbreviations

Iberdrola calls the service OLA Club in Spanish and in its English news release. Its English registration form uses OLS Shareholder’s Club. Both refer to its online shareholder club.

Each offer has its own terms

Club access does not guarantee an invitation or a prize. Check the location, entry deadline and eligibility for each event or draw.

History of the perk

  1. Electric bicycles for AGM participants

The 2026 AGM participation draw offered electric bicycles to adult club members who registered and voted or appointed a proxy under its terms. Entry has closed. This was a dated offer, not a standing reward for joining the club.

  2. The online club launches

Iberdrola launched OLA, short for On Line Shareholders, in 2012. Alongside information and questions about the company, the club offers leisure activities, events and prize draws.

  3. The first shareholder club

Iberdrola dates its first shareholder club to 2007.

EQ Boost shopping vouchers

Not confirmed by the companyThe sources checked do not confirm a current EQ Boost route for this holding.

EQ lists Iberdrola among companies whose dividends can fund shopping vouchers. Iberdrola names Equiniti Financial Services as the administrator of its UK CDI corporate nominee facility. Neither source says that this facility can elect EQ Boost, or identifies the eligible holdings.

Club access does not establish EQ Boost access

The club’s registration form accepts CDI holders. That says nothing about dividend elections at Equiniti. Ask Equiniti whether your exact holding can choose EQ Boost before changing an instruction.
