New shareholder perks since September 2026

Dormy adds a golf discount in Sweden, Lotte Shopping prepares a Korean shopping club, and Japanese issuers announce vouchers, original merchandise and catalogue gifts. Several first ownership dates have already passed; others lead to gifts that will not arrive until 2027.

This selection covers announcements from 2026-09-01 to 2026-10-18 and Lotte’s upcoming club launch: 23 developments from Sweden, South Korea and Japan. It includes new programmes, changes and endings; it does not cover every new perk in those markets. Each entry gives the announcement date, the ownership test and the expected benefit. The final entry, SMFG, was announced in May but reached its first ownership date in this period.

Check the ownership date before the gift date

A company can announce a scheme in September, check ownership in January and send its first gift the following autumn. An upcoming delivery does not mean a new holder can still qualify. A continuity rule can also depend on a register entry made before you found the offer.

The Japanese schemes below use the issuer’s shareholder register. Ask your broker whether your holding appears in the required form, whether it can pass on the benefit and when a trade must settle. A company’s rules do not tell you what your broker will do; an overseas account or delivery address may prevent a claim.

New programmes with qualification still ahead or ongoing

Dormy Corporation: Golf equipment at 10% off ordinary prices

Announced 2026-09-15. Ticker: DORMY.

Dormy announced its shareholder programme alongside its September listing, then confirmed the launch on 2026-09-24. Swedish shareholders with at least 200 shares can receive 10% off ordinary-price products and services online and in its stores, including custom-ordered golf clubs.

The holder must be an individual with directly owned shares in a securities account, share-dealing account or Swedish investment savings account (ISK). Insurance wrappers, pension accounts, companies and other legal entities are excluded. Register as a Dormy Club customer with a full Swedish personal identity number; the company matches customers against Euroclear monthly, about ten banking days after month-end. Activation can take up to five weeks.

The discount excludes reduced prices, Dormy Price, member prices and third-party products or services. It cannot combine with other offers. The terms also cap it at the discount Dormy gives club customers or other promotions at the time, a condition intended to prevent it counting as a taxable benefit. You must still hold at least 200 shares when buying. After activation, log in online or identify yourself at the till.

Inuneko Seikatsu: Pet-food vouchers begin with the October register

Announced 2026-09-14. Ticker: 556A.

Inuneko Seikatsu’s first ownership date is 2026-10-31. Registered holders of 100–299 shares receive one ¥1,500 voucher; holders of at least 300 receive two ¥3,000 vouchers, worth ¥6,000 in total. Later allocations use the April and October month-end registers.

The voucher works only in the company’s official online shop. The company plans to issue it within three months of each register date, with six months’ validity after issue. Full redemption instructions remain unpublished; overseas delivery and nominee access are unconfirmed.

Ondeck: Electronic gifts from the November register

Announced 2026-10-15. Ticker: 7360.

Ondeck, which advises companies on mergers and acquisitions, starts with the 2026-11-30 shareholder register and plans to repeat the offer each November. Holdings of 300–499 shares receive ¥10,000 equivalent in electronic gifts; 500–999 receive ¥20,000; at least 1,000 receive ¥50,000.

The gifts can be exchanged for electronic money or points at one point per yen. The company plans to issue them within three months of the register date. Its launch notice does not give a detailed redemption procedure.

Take and Give Needs: A catalogue starts at 700 shares

Announced 2026-09-29. Ticker: 4331.

Wedding-venue operator Take and Give Needs starts its Premium Yutai Club with the 2026-12-31 register and repeats annually. Allocations are 5,000 points for 700–799 shares; 6,000 for 800–899; 8,000 for 900–999; 20,000 for 1,000–1,999; 40,000 for 2,000–2,999; and 90,000 for at least 3,000. The issuer describes one point as approximately one yen.

Members choose from food, drinks, electrical goods, experiences and electronic money. The company plans to send registration instructions in mid-February 2027; a telephone route offers a narrower selection. Points can carry forward once only if the same shareholder number appears on two consecutive December registers and the holder continuously retains at least 700 shares.

Take and Give Needs primary terms; company business.

HUMAN MADE: Original merchandise, with a first-year exception

Announced 2026-09-11. Ticker: 456A.

HUMAN MADE, the group behind NIGO’s lifestyle label, will give shareholder-exclusive original merchandise to holders of at least 100 shares on 2027-01-31. The normal one-year holding requirement is waived for this first issue. Instructions are planned for early April 2027, with delivery around autumn 2027; shareholders apply through a special website or the enclosed postcard.

Later annual January awards require at least 100 shares under the same shareholder number on three consecutive January and July registers. The continuity count starts at 2027-01-31. Three-year holders need seven consecutive entries and can choose one item from several original products. The five-year benefit has not been settled, so it has no stated value or promised contents.

Star Seeds: A recurring gift follows its earlier one-off offer

Announced 2026-09-02. Ticker: 3083.

Star Seeds combines clothing, energy and AI-server businesses. It introduces a recurring QUO-card programme, separate from its one-off 2024 shop coupons. Holders of at least 500 shares receive a ¥30,000 card at each February and August snapshot, normally after six months’ continuous ownership. The issuer limits eligibility in principle to residents of Japan.

The first issue uses 2027-02-28 and a shorter three-month test: the same shareholder number must show at least 500 shares on both 2026-11-30 and 2027-02-28. Later issues require two consecutive February/August registers. A changed shareholder number breaks continuity. February cards are planned with the AGM notice; August cards follow about two months after that register date.

TO Books: Book artwork on a QUO card

Announced 2026-09-14. Ticker: 500A.

Light-novel and comics producer TO Books starts with the 2027-04-30 shareholder register, then repeats each April. Holders of 100–199 shares receive a ¥3,000 QUO card; 200–499 receive ¥10,000; at least 500 receive ¥25,000.

The cards carry shareholder-exclusive Ascendance of a Bookworm artwork by You Shiina. The issuer says every tier uses the same design and plans dispatch within three months of the register date. The final design will be announced separately.

New programmes whose first ownership test has passed

Lotte Shopping: Shopping rewards need spending as well as shares

Opens 2026-11-01. Ticker: 023530.

L.HONORS CLUB opens at 09:00 on 2026-11-01. Its first November-to-January membership period uses the 2026-09-30 shareholder register, so a new purchase cannot qualify for that period. The official sources do not state a minimum share count for basic membership.

The one-time welcome pack offers purchase discounts worth up to ₩180,000 across Lotte shopping businesses, subject to coupon caps and spending conditions. Recurring L.POINT rewards require eligible spending over three months: at least ₩1,000,000 earns 10,000 points, ₩2,000,000 earns 40,000, and ₩3,000,000 earns 90,000. Only purchases credited to the member’s own L.POINT account count. Rewards follow within two months of the period’s end, after returns and cancellations.

Join through the L.POINT app when the club opens, complete shareholder verification and consent to information sharing. Korean identity verification is required, and foreign-broker holdings may restrict access. Membership, consent and shareholder eligibility must continue until reward payment. A separate premium tier requires at least 1,000 shares and one year across five consecutive quarter-end registers; it adds store services and coupons.

Vis: The first points snapshot has passed

Announced 2026-09-14. Ticker: 5071.

Office-design company Vis launched its annual digital points programme for the 2026-09-30 register. That first snapshot has passed. Allocations are 1,000 points for 200–299 shares; 3,000 for 300–399; 4,000 for 400–599; 6,000 for 600–799; 8,000 for 800–999; 12,000 for 1,000–1,499; and 35,000 for at least 1,500.

Points exchange for electronic money, points, goods or services; the issuer describes one point as equivalent to one yen. Registration instructions and points are planned for November 2026. An automated telephone route offers fewer choices. Unused points cannot carry into the next year; buying now does not qualify for the first allocation.

Ikuyo: A year of ownership begins with a past snapshot

Announced 2026-09-09. Ticker: 7273.

Ikuyo’s group makes car parts through its automotive subsidiary. Its new annual QUO-card programme pays ¥60,000 to holders of at least 1,000 shares after one year of continuous ownership. Eligibility is limited in principle to residents of Japan.

The first award requires the same shareholder number and at least 1,000 shares on all three registers: 2026-09-30, 2027-03-31 and 2027-09-30. The first of those dates has passed. Dispatch is planned for early December 2027 after the full holding test; a new purchase cannot recreate the missing September 2026 entry.

Changes to existing benefits

ASNOVA Companies: A replacement gift scheme at the holding company

Announced 2026-10-14. Ticker: 640A.

Scaffolding-rental group ASNOVA Companies formally adopts the ASNOVA × monotomoi catalogue after the operating company announced the change in September. The first register date is 2027-03-31. Holdings of 1,000–4,999 shares receive goods valued at ¥5,000; at least 5,000 receive ¥10,000. The normal condition is one year’s continuous ownership.

The first-year exception depends on a date already passed: holders needed at least 500 operating-company ASNOVA shares on 2026-09-30, then continuous ownership after the share transfer and at least 1,000 holding-company shares on 2027-03-31. The company will announce application and dispatch details later. This is a replacement following the holding-company transition, not an extra allocation on top of the former scheme.

Zojirushi: Long-held shares receive a larger shopping discount

Announced 2026-10-02. Ticker: 7965.

Zojirushi, the rice-cooker and vacuum-flask maker, adds a three-year loyalty tier from the 2026-11-20 register and moves orders from postcards to a website. Its existing product prices for shareholders remain, with an additional discount from the total purchase: ¥1,000 for 100–499 shares, ¥2,000 for 500–999, or ¥4,000 for at least 1,000.

The new three-year amounts are ¥1,500, ¥3,000 and ¥6,000 respectively. The same shareholder number must appear on seven consecutive 20 May/20 November registers; the first test looks back to 2023-11-20. The latest November holding selects the share tier. The company plans to mail website instructions each February.

Keisei Electric Railway: Rail tickets gain more exchange choices

Announced 2026-09-07. Ticker: 9009.

Keisei adds three destinations to its ticket-exchange scheme from the November 2026 mailing, based on the 2026-09-30 register. One single-journey shareholder rail ticket exchanges for admission to Tsukubasan Keisei Hotel’s day bath or Funabashi Andersen Park. Two exchange for one MOVIX cinema ticket.

The ownership snapshot has passed. The base allocation starts at one rail ticket for 100 shares; MOVIX needs two tickets. These are exchanges, so the rail ticket surrendered cannot also fund a train journey. Eligible holders should use the exchange instructions enclosed with the November mailing.

Keisei Electric Railway primary terms.

Daiichikosho: Karaoke vouchers become a card with one-yen spending

Announced 2026-09-04. Ticker: 7458.

Daiichikosho, which operates Big Echo karaoke rooms, replaces its paper voucher booklet with a disposable electronic card from the 2026-09-30 register, for dispatch in early December 2026. The monetary allocations stay unchanged: ¥5,000 for 200–1,999 shares and ¥12,500 for at least 2,000, twice a year. The alternative of one album CD for the lower band or two for the upper band also remains.

The card can be used in one-yen units instead of ¥500 steps and works at self-service payment machines. Holders can present the printed barcode or scan its QR code to use a phone at eligible group karaoke and dining venues. Validity remains eight months. The first register date has passed; the company plans detailed instructions with the card.

Daiichikosho primary terms; company business.

Nippon Ski Resort Development: More resorts accept the existing ski benefits

Announced 2026-10-13. Ticker: 6040.

The expansion applies to individual shareholders on the 2026-07-31 register, so its qualifying date has passed. Marunuma Kogen joins both the lift-discount tickets for holders of at least 100 shares and the shared winter season pass for holders of at least 3,000. Its lift discount is 30%. Tsugaike Mountain Resort joins the shared winter pass; it already accepted the discount ticket.

The issuer requires a Japanese address on the shareholder register and excludes corporate holders. Tickets are due to start mailing on 2026-10-19. Eligible holders should check the issuer’s benefit page for their ticket’s validity and resort conditions; this announcement expands the venues rather than opening a new ownership window.

Nippon Ski Resort Development primary terms.

Wintest: A product discount returns after a pause

Announced 2026-09-25. Ticker: 6721.

Wintest makes semiconductor testing equipment. Its restarted shareholder benefit offers its Body Beat connected toilet-seat mat at half its list price to holders of at least 2,000 shares on the 2026-12-31 register. The earlier speaker-coupon programme paused after the music business was sold in 2022.

The first year has no holding-period test. Later years require more than one year of continuous ownership under the same shareholder number. The notice uses three successive June/December registers but also says ownership must start in the preceding January; confirm the required purchase timing in the final instructions.

The company plans to enclose the guide with its AGM notice around early March. Holders can use the offer once between that mailing and the following March-end. The notice gives no list price or yen saving, and the redemption and delivery instructions will follow on the company’s website.

Wintest primary terms; company business.

Hagihara Industries: A planned ending is reversed

Announced 2026-09-07. Ticker: 7856.

Hagihara, which makes synthetic-fibre products and industrial machinery, reverses its plan to end shareholder gifts after October 2026. The 2026-10-31 register still offers products or a donation from 100 shares. Holders of 100–999 shares choose products or a donation worth ¥1,000, or ¥2,000 under the three-year tier; at least 1,000 shares receive ¥3,000 or ¥6,000 respectively.

The 2026 choices include mt masking tape, Okayama peach puddings, Ohara Museum shop goods and Bizen beef, depending on the tier. The contents notice uses 2022-10-31 to 2025-10-31 for its three-year test despite describing the 2026 award. Confirm that tier in the issuer’s allocation notice.

From the 2027-10-31 award, the minimum rises to 300 shares held for at least one year. The 300–499, 500–999 and 1,000-plus bands receive ¥1,000, ¥2,000 and ¥3,000; three-year holders receive twice those amounts. The same shareholder number and relevant share band must appear at three consecutive April/October registers for one year, or seven for three years. The first one-year test starts on 2026-10-31. The revised product choices will follow separately.

Hagihara Industries primary terms; company business; 2026 product choices.

PA: A gift pool is shared between qualifying holders

Announced 2026-09-30. Ticker: 4766.

PA runs recruitment, local-development and childcare services. It adds a ¥5,000,000 electronic-gift pool, divided equally among all holders of at least 1,000 shares on the 2026-12-31 register. The amount for each holder will be set after the qualifying count is known, with fractions of a yen rounded down.

The existing ¥5,000 gift for two-year holders and ¥10,000 lottery awards for 500 holders continue, now as electronic gifts instead of Amazon gift cards. The two-year test requires at least 1,000 shares under the same shareholder number on three consecutive December registers. The company plans to send the gifts with AGM correspondence in early March 2027; detailed redemption instructions will follow.

PA primary terms; company business.

One-off anniversary benefits

Himaraya: An anniversary bonus depends on membership

Announced 2026-10-15. Ticker: 7514.

Sports-shop operator Himaraya adds a one-off 50th-anniversary bonus for the 2027-02-28 register. Shareholder Premium Members receive extra points: 1,000 for 100–499 shares, 4,000 for 500–1,999, 6,000 for 2,000–4,999, and 11,000 for at least 5,000. These amounts are additional to the normal allocation.

Non-members receive extra paper ¥1,000 discount vouchers: one for 300–499 shares, three for 500–1,999, five for 2,000–4,999, and ten for at least 5,000. Non-members with 100–299 shares get no anniversary paper bonus, but can receive the points bonus by joining by 2027-02-28. Points are planned for mid-April 2027 and paper vouchers for late May. The bonus expires on 2028-05-31.

Himaraya primary terms; company business.

Fujita Engineering: A noodle gift for a snapshot already passed

Announced 2026-09-15. Ticker: 1770.

Fujita Engineering marks its 100th anniversary and 30 years since listing with a one-off Peyang noodle assortment valued at ¥2,500. The assortment comes from Peyang, the main brand of Fujita’s business partner Maruka Foods of Isesaki, Gunma. The two companies selected longstanding favourites and much-discussed products from the range. The award requires at least 100 shares on the 2026-09-30 shareholder register, a date that has passed.

The company plans dispatch around mid-November 2026. This is a single commemorative gift, not a newly recurring annual offer.

Endings and conditional withdrawals

Ito En: The shareholder product gift has ended

Announced 2026-09-29. Ticker: 2593.

Ito En, the tea company behind Oi Ocha, ends its shareholder benefit after the gift for holders of at least 100 shares on the 2026-04-30 register. It will not run an award for 2027-04-30 or later dates.

Ito En says it reviewed how to return profits fairly to all shareholders and will concentrate on dividends and long-term company value instead. A new holding cannot earn a gift.

Ito En primary terms; company business.

Kadoya Sesame Mills: An ending depends on the takeover offer

Announced 2026-09-14. Ticker: 2612.

Sesame-oil and food maker Kadoya announces that its shareholder benefit will end from the year to March 2027 if ITG-G Holdings’ tender offer succeeds. Under that condition, the award for the 2026-03-31 register would be the last.

If the offer fails, Kadoya says it will announce a new benefit policy. Check the issuer’s offer-result and benefit notices before relying on an old gift listing.

Kadoya Sesame Mills primary terms; company business.

Albis: The September award is cancelled regardless of the offer

Announced 2026-09-08. Ticker: 7475.

Food retailer Albis cancels the award for the 2026-09-30 register whether or not Life Corporation’s tender offer succeeds. Separately, it plans to abolish the programme from the 2027-03-31 award if that offer succeeds; the March 2026 award would then be the last.

The cancelled September award cannot be claimed. Future availability depends on the offer outcome and later issuer notices.

An earlier announcement reaching its first cycle

Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group: A September start follows a May announcement

Announced 2026-05-13. Ticker: 8316.

SMFG announced this programme on 2026-05-13, so it is not new this autumn. Its first qualifying register, 2026-09-30, fell in this period.

For that first cycle, at least 100 shares held continuously for one year qualify for ¥5,000 worth of V POINTs; at least 1,000 held for five years qualify for ¥30,000 worth. The five-year test adjusts earlier holdings for the 2024-10-01 three-for-one split. Only the higher award applies when both tests are met. Both require an account with Olive, SMBC’s app-based banking service, and at least ¥150,000 in its qualifying ordinary deposit account at 23:59 on 2027-02-28. The same shareholder number and required holding must persist across the relevant March and September registers.

Application instructions are due with the interim dividend documents in early December. The Olive account must also remain open when benefits are delivered. The first ownership date has passed. Following the 2026-10-01 two-for-one split, the corresponding thresholds from the 2027-09-30 cycle become 200 and 2,000 shares; do not use the old counts for a later year.

Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group primary terms; Olive banking service.

Keep the benefit in proportion

A gift-card face value says little about the cost of holding the shares. Market losses, dealing charges, currency movements and custody costs can exceed a perk’s value. Read the risks of holding shares for perks.

The 2026 comparison covers selected benefits from the wider year, with their qualifying windows. The current register links to reviewed issuer pages and their claim conditions.
